A Day In The Life of a 24 Hour Plumber
Each day starts with an equipment and vehicle check. We provide a fast and efficient plumbing response service so it is important we have all the tools we need. Then it’s time to hit the road to your first call out of the day.
You will represent 24 Hour Plumber wherever you go, we are a customer friendly business and our customers expect a friendly face to arrive at their door. Don’t be surprised if people wave as you drive between plumbing jobs. 24 Hour Plumbers have helped a lot of homes and businesses over the years, so people like us. And we like them.
In fact, more than 65% of our jobs come from repeat customers who have used our emergency plumbing services and then remembered us next time they had a general plumbing issue. We are grateful that they choose to come back to us time and again. Our customers are like our very own 24 Hour Plumber community.
Over the years, our plumbers have encountered every type of plumbing situation imaginable. So your day could include a mix of plumbing repairs and replacements, emergencies and standard call outs. From blocked pipes to cracked toilets. We have seen it all. Our team have brilliant fault-finding skills and extensive professional knowledge which they use to solve just about every type of plumbing issue. Including malfunctioning heating systems, booster pump breakdowns, plumbing faults, blocked sewerage and drains, and electrical components.
We offer a 24-hour plumbing emergency call out service in Dublin and all the surrounding counties. This means that you could get called out to help someone in their home in the dead of night. When you arrive, your job is not only to solve their plumbing problem but to make sure that the customer is at ease. Having someone call to your house late at night can be quite stressful and intimidating for people, even when they are expecting you. Who Are We Hiring?
Every 24 Hour Plumber must have a minimum of 4 years’ professional plumbing experience and Fetac level 6 (or equivalent) before joining our team.
You will enjoy working with 24 Hour Plumber if you are a problem solver who is comfortable working on their own initiative. This is a growing business and the right candidate will have the chance to grow with the business.
Registered gas installers in the Dublin and surrounding areas, as well as other areas in Ireland, are particularly encouraged to join our team. If you are RGII Gas certified, that will be of an advantage.

What You Can Expect
24 Hour Plumber receive competitive salaries and bonus incentives in place. To start with, you must have your own tools and transport. This is essential and must be willing to work over all of the Dublin area (or your corresponding county). In time, you will be supplied with a company van and field tablet.

Hours of Work
24 Hour Plumbers are required to work 40 hours per week, with flexibility for our emergency plumbing, 24/7 call-out services. This role will involve unsociable hours. You could get called to a plumbing job any time of day a night, Monday through Sunday. To join our team, you must be comfortable with this.
